Our Suite and Cabins

CABIN #1

Queen bed, kitchenette, fireplace, TV/DVD/stereo with satellite TV & high speed Internet. Big deck with a BBQ & outdoor 2-person Jacuzzi soaker tub with on-demand hot water. Gated deck for pets. Small & cozy but well appointed. Great view of Mount Ozzard, passing fish boats, and lots of wildlife like sea lions, river otters, eagles & many other birds. Cabin faces east so receives morning sun. This cabin was built in 2003 and welcomes many repeat visitors annually.

SUITE

Our one-bedroom suite is the beach level of our home, private entrance, separate bedroom with Queen bed, full kitchen, living room with fireplace, full bathroom, deck with BBQ & exclusive use of a 4-person hot tub. The unit is pet-friendly. Wifi throughout the property, satellite TV, private parking. Breakfast supplies are provided to make your own. View of the inlet, Mount Ozzard across the bay. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, bird watching, sea lions frolicking. Lots of bald eagles year-round, many deer walk around town. Easy access (4 blocks) to Main Street, restaurants & stores. Wild Pacific Trail is walking distance, as is the Ucluelet Aquarium.

Safe and Clean

Tofino & Ucluelet have had only a handful of COVID-19 cases, and to help keep it that way we run an ozonator in each of our 3 units between check outs and check ins for 2 hours, which eliminates any and all germs, bacteria, etc.

Pet-friendly property

Being a pet-friendly property is very important to us! We charge $40 per pet per stay, and donate 100% of our pet fees paid by our guests to the Port Alberni SPCA. We were honoured to be named Donor of the Month in February 2013.

Our location that faces the fresh and relaxing sea coast. Feel the breeze and enjoy yourself with different activities such as fishing, Kayaking, scuba diving and etc.

Waterfront Suite​

Do check out our one-bedroom waterfront suite, a great addition to our property as of 2007. Quite a bit larger than the two cabins. 

Cabin #1

Our two cozy waterfront cabins are just a few steps down to the beach, near the mouth of Ucluelet Harbour. They are self-contained cabins.

Marilyn McEwen was a professional photographer for 27 years, specializing in portraits and weddings. Lance Blackwell has been a professional mariner for over 35 years, originally teaching scuba diving and running dive charters up the BC coast. More recently we owned Long Beach TV.
